VURA PoliMast

VURA PoliMast is a high viscous thixotropic paste product based on unsaturated polyester resins containing filling agents suitable to glue and to fix marbles, onyx and stone in vertical surfaces. The hard product is well dry, polishable and sandable in a very short time. The product has low shrinkage, good adhesion in many stones. Low styrene content.

CHARACTERISTICS

- Good working properties creamy-soft consistency, especially on vertical surfaces
- Fast hardening (20-30 minutes)
- Good working properties (grinding, milling, drilling)
- Good polishing properties
- Very good adhesion on natural stones also at higher temperatures
- Resistance to water, petrol and mineral oils

FIELD OF APPLICATION
VURA PoliMast is mainly used in stone processing industry for filling and bonding natural and artificial stones. Due to its creamy-soft consistency the product is suite to fill larger areas especially on vertical surfaces.

Usage Guide

SURFACE PREPARATION
- The surface to be treated must be clean, completely dry and slightly roughened
- Colouring is possible by adding Polyester Colouring Pastes up to max 5%
- Dilution is not possible

MIXING
- Take the necessary quantity of PoliMast from the container and add 2-3 part of hardener B in 100 part of PoliMast
- Mix both components thoroughly. The mixture can be worked for about 3-5 minutes (25oC)
- After 20-30 minutes the treated parts can be further processed and transported
- The hardening process is accelerated by heat and delayed by cold
- An excess of color may influence the final characteristics of the glue
- Tools can be cleaned with thinner or mineral spirit
- Keep the tins closed after usage. Keep the glue and the catalyst away from the sunlight

Description

VURA Oxi 7010

2 COMPONENTS, GEL FORM, EPOXY BASE THIXOTROPIC GLUE/PASTE

Vura Oxi 7010 is two components, epoxy base, gel form, solvent-free, thixotropic paste to fill and to firmly glue marble, stone, granite, quartz and ceramic. Suitable for outdoor and indoor application with low yellowing. it is soft and light with high gloss and brightness

CHARACTERISTICS

- Very neutral colour & easy to spread
- Low VOC content
- Very low tendency to yellow
- High creeping strength due to gel-like consistency
- Easy dosing and mixing by use
- Weather-resistant bonding
- Good dimensional stability of the bonding layer
- Low tendency to fatigue
- Good adhesion on slightly humid stones
- Very low shrinkage during the hardening process and therefore low tensions in the bonding layer
- Very good alkali-stability, thus the adhesive is very well suited to bond concrete
- Excellently suited for bonding gas-impermeable materials as it is a solvent-free product

Usage Guide

MIXING & APPLICATION
Vura Oxi 7010is mainly used in the stone-working industry for the weather-resistant bonding and glueing of natural stone (marble, granite), Artificial stone or building materials (terrazzo, concrete).
The two parts ie. glue and hardener must be kept on the original cans/tins. Thoroughly clean and slightly roughen surfaces to be bonded. Thoroughly mix 2 parts (A+B) (by weight) of component A with 1 part (by weight) of component B until a homogeneous mix is achieved.
Avoid the use of plastic made of PVC, do use only plastic resistant to corrosive liquids. Take out from the two containers A and B the required amounts indicated in weight, of the two components. Mix very well the 2 parts A+B and proceed to use. During the mixing use clean tools. Ensure that the marble to be treated with the resin is completely dry and clean.
By means of the application of high- quality raw materials it was possible to develop a system which hardly yellows. Because of its gel-like consistency the product has a high creeping strength on vertical surfaces. It is nevertheless possible to attain thin adhesive joints. Other materials can also be glued with Oxi 7010, e.g. paper, wood, glass and many other materials.
we suggest to verify the ratio every time. To clean the tools, we suggest to use aromatic and light solvent, The hardening process is accelerated by heat and delayed by cold.
