VURA Polifill G
VURA PoliFill-G is a gel-like semi solid 2 component product based on unsaturated premium polyester resins. It is thixotropic transparent gel with high viscosity for glueing and fixing marbles, stones, tiles and to fill cracks.

APPLICATION AREAS
Granite, Marbles, Tiles, Sandstones, Cementitious tiles. Mainly used in the stone processing industry for filling and bonding light or white, transparent- crystalline natural stone such as Thassos, Carrara, Onyx etc. By adding little quantities of polyester coloring pastes to VURA PoliFill-G required color can be made. Thus, an appearance very similar to the stone or bonding joints which are almost invisible can be achieved. When working with crystalline natural stone we recommend mixing some crushed granular material in the filler to imitate the crystal structure of the stone. Walls, floors, tile on tile applications, dry areas, and worktops.
Usage Guide
For the treatment of ground and polished absorbent marble, natural stone, slate, limestone, sandstone, granite, travertine etc.
SURFACE PREPARATION
- The surface to be treated must be clean, completely dry and roughened. It should be free of moisture, dirt, oil and grease etc.
- Coloring is possible by adding Polyester pigment concentrates liquid upto 5% max
- Dilution is not possible
APPLICATION
Use gloves during application. Ensure proper and thorough mixing of resin (Part A) and hardener (Part B) before applying. Stir them energetically and use the product thus obtained. The mixture can be worked for approx. 15-20 minutes (23° C). Do not allow excess material to dry on surface. After approx. 6-8 hours the treated parts can be exposed to strain, after 12 hours approx. they can be further processed (grinding, milling, drilling). Do not mix any solvents. Add 1 to 2g of Hardener B (liquid) in 100g of PoliFill-G.
The hardening process is accelerated by heat and delayed by cold. Tools can be cleaned with thinner or mineral spirit.
Keep the tins closed after usage. Keep the gel and hardener away from the sunlight.
